On May 6, 2021, the China Quality Certification Center (CQC) issued a notice on the revision of the "Rules for the Safety and Performance Certification of Intelligent Control Equipment and Terminal Products for Lighting", and the CQC13-465428-2016 "Intelligent Control Equipment and Terminal Products for Lighting" The Safety and Performance Certification Rules have been revised, involving application category: 004017. The revised content and implementation requirements are as follows:
Main revised content
1. The certification standard GB 17743-2007 was updated to GB/T 17743-2017, and NB/T 32004-2013 was updated to NB/T 32004-2018; GB 4943.1-2011, GB 15092.1-2010 and related standards in the rules were deleted content;
2. Change the IP level requirements in 4.2.2.3: Improve the IP level of centralized control equipment for outdoor street lights and landscape lighting control equipment from no less than IP44 to no less than IP54.
3. Change the validity period of the certificate: the validity period of the certificate is changed from "long-term validity" to the validity period of 10 years;
4. Add Chapter 9: Review.
Implementation requirements
1. This revision adopts a natural transition method to renew the certificate;
2. Starting from June 1, 2021, CQC will start accepting certification applications for this product using the revised rules.
