From the date of implementation, products that have not passed the certification will be prohibited from entering the EU market, and products already in circulation will need to be forcibly recalled. This will undoubtedly cause a significant increase in supply chain costs. From the perspective of compliance costs, enterprises need to invest funds in technological transformation to meet the requirements of 14 types of security mechanisms and carry out customized adaptation for different sub-standards.
